once born, their child will have dual citizenship automatically since meghan is still an american and harry is a british citizen. you dont have to "apply" for it. the only thing she will need to get for the baby is an american birth certificate.

They can choose whether the baby has American citizenship or not.   And we do not know what citizenship status she will have at the time of birth.
