@cherry No. Until Meghan renounces her US citizenship, she is still a citizen of this country. Jane is incorrect.

Meghan is also still subject to US taxes, too. Which means all finances are subject to inspection-including royal finances. Our country requires IRS tax filings regardless of where the US citizen lives.

This is a legal issue, not a heart issue.

@ Cakers I was speaking of her feelings..that is what matters to me. I don't think she cares about US citizenship. If I were in her shoes I wouldn't, either

In the UK, Meghan, Harry and baby have much more protection and privacy from prying eyes and paparazzi.

They may visit the US, but I don't see them 'living' here.

I also don't see the Queen allowing royal assets of any royal family members to be disclosed to the US IRS.

I think Meghan will eventually denounce her US citizenship, for this reason, among others.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Personally, I doubt the Queen will be very happy with the news. I would imagine she will not approve of it and just might tell them they cannot do it. Of course Meghan and Harry can turn around and tell her it is their child and they can do what they want, however, the Queen can say it is her great grandchild and it will be born in England, down comes the hammer, bang, so be it!!!!!!! There is a price to pay when displeasing the Queen, therefore, no one does it. More drama!!!

It’s already not truth, LA does not have hospital named Mount Sinai.New York has. So who crieated this did not do homework.

The post said CEDARS SINAI not Mount Sinai. There is indeed a CEDARS SINAI IN LOS ANGELES. Apparently you didn't do YOUR homework.

@wingnutactually the original post was edited to change Mount Sinai to Cedars Sinai. even your quote shows the original way it was written with "Mount Sinai." see above. just clarifying. and yes there is a well-known Cedars Sinai here in L.A. as you said.
