 His  contribution by being  1/2 of the Dynamic duo of song writers for Motown Records  put Motown on the Map.

Many good memories of these songs and all the dancing that I did to the tunes!

Ah, Mr. Dozier, I know I am not alone in having had your fabulous music accompany my first tentative steps when falling in love and dealing with passions and heartache later in my life.  Your music gave my life such gorgeous drama.

So many of your tunes have me recall rapturous and adventurous times.

Thank you giving us such great music!

May you rest in peace.

Motown had some the best songwriters ever at their peak- Holland, Dozier,Holland; Smokey Robinson; Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson and Norman Whitfield. RIP Lamont Dozier.

Out of Motown came so many fantastic songs and behind those hits were great song writers, Lamont Dozier was an artist and a talent.  His songs will live on and entertain generations.  Thank you, Mr. Dozier for all the times your music made me happy!  

I am sad to hear he passed, may he be at peace with God.
