Yeah, she had been driving for 12 hours.

I hope she wasn’t the one drinking but we don’t know yet.

@sidsmom. Oh please with the 12 hours. She had a breathalyzer in her car ordered by the court for previous DUI.

You do know there are ways around a breathalzer, right?

@Sushismom. Obviously. The point is that she had one which shows a previous drinking problem. She was being portrayed as just tired from driving twelve hours. Right?

Maria Elena Cruz

Maria Elena Cruz is the 16 year-old in this story.  She was a sophomore at Taos High School.

She was not the driver at fault.

If she was the cause, that’s not good, right?

I was just reporting what everyone knew at the time.

Does it matter if it was speed or alcohol?  Either way, she was irresponsible and caused the death of a young lady who was totally innocent.

How tragic for this young girl, I'm sure her family is devastated. May she RIP.

Re: RIP: Kylie Rae Harris, TX Country Singer

what a sad story......

whoever blew into that interlock system should really be feeling some responsibility for this accident. obviously kylie rae harris didnt learn from previous mistakes. now an innocent teenager is taken away from her family.
