Oh, no! I, too, am shocked and saddened by this news. He will definitely be missed. 

 

P.S. My favorite song by Van Halen is Jamie's Cryin'.

Sorry to read this - I saw him many times in concert, he was a once-in-a-lifetime guitar player -huge loss for his family and for the fans.

So sad, rest in peace Eddie. Van Halen was the first concert I ever went to, I think I was 15 or 16.

What a major loss to the music industry.  He was an amazing guitarist/musician!  So sad.

When I told my husband he slumped a little. He's a guitar player. Van Halen was so much a part of my young years. R.I.P. in guitar heaven.

I am shocked and so sad to hear this! I will always remember him with Valerie though, they were together a long time before divorcing! He had such a cute smile too. RIP!
