Iman the world famous model and HSN designer was the wife of David Bowie, and he also fathered a child with her.

May God also bless them with the wisdom to understand and accept, what they cannot change.

May he R.I.P, and I pray that God grants Iman and Alexandria great comfort, and the courage to forge ahead.

Very surprising and hard to beleive. He was  one of those people that I thought would live for a very long time. He was one of a kind and very unique. A big loss to art & music

I was looking at pictures of David and Iman on the internet. They had a beautiful traditional wedding back in 1992. Their love story is so touching. In every picture you can see and feel the love emanating from him to her. It isn't often that pictures really capture where you can see and feel love like that. How lucky they were to have found each other and had so many years. Their daughter is only 14 or 15. How devastated they must be. Always liked David Bowie. Argh cancer.

This just blew up my mind! Iman has never let on he was sick. She is such a classy woman. Their daughter is 15.

He just had a birthday, and released a new album. Not even 2 weeks ago, maybe one week?

Wow. Iman must be crushed. Very sad.

He also has a 40 year old son from his first wife, Angie.

Amazing that they were able keep the cancer a secret. I find out on Twitter. Someone said (regarding album he released Friday) that ge was saying goodbye and we didn't even know it. I'm sure that's true. He probably just wanted to do one more. To say what he wanted to at the end.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the internet!  He was one of a kind.  A huge talent and artist.  I have always just adored him.  No one can ever take his place.  I am like others here who just feel his loss tremdously.  All the wonderful songs her wrote!

I loved ALL of his recarnations.

His 'Blackstar' album....just released recently on his 69th birthday, is edgy & fresh.  

The video shows the death of Major Tom, the character he created way back in the 70's.  

Seems 'Blackstar' was a created specifically for his personal soon-to-be-death.  He was saying 'goodbye'.
