Re: RIP: Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), 52

[ Edited ]

Suicide, I'm doubting this.  He and his band just finished a concert in Detroit.  They said on the news of course, it was a great one and the band is/was due here in C-bus OH for a 3-day concert called "Rock On The Range" to start tomorrow.

So sad to learn of Mr Cornell's death.  What a great voice he had.  He will be missed for sure.

Very sad news to wake up to this morning.  RIP Mr. Cornell, your music will live on.

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

Just because he did a concert recently, doesn't mean that he didn't have his demons.

This was the first thing I saw online. Truly saddened by this. I listen to Soundargen often still. One of my all time favorite bands and Chris' voice was like no other. RIP.

I read this earlier this morning, so sad. I have seen Soundgarden many times in the past. Sad news for his children that is for sure. If it is true that he killed himself, they will have a long road ahead of them.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

Rest easy now Chris. We are close in age and your music was a big part of my life. If you were suffering, you are free now.

so true....nobody knows the pain and struggle within....things can appear fine on the exterior, while your interior is slowly deteriorating......

May he rest in peace in rock and roll heaven.

Hope he runs into Curt Cobain, what a duet!
