Hi @Tinkrbl44
We live on the very Eastern end of Nebraska. I can get in my car/go East on Hwy 36, and be in Iowa in about 5 minutes, maybe even less. We are outside the northern city limits of Omaha.

@Tinkrbl44 Yup......the inside temp of your car can get up to more than 150°. I worked "days" for a couple years.....then switched to "graveyard". I have to admit, tho...........it's a whole lot better than having to shovel your car out of a snowdrift and de-ice the windows. (I'm originally from Chicago.)

It's 8PM and 70 degrees in Oxnard, CA.
The high was 80 degrees.
Humidity now is 74%. I literally cannot breathe during the heatwaves with high humidity.
Fortunately, my house is fairly cool - without air - so I'm grateful.
Just walking up/down the stairs is tiring.
Can't imagine living where it's over 100 degrees.
When I was young - and living in NY - heat never bothered me.
Now - I can't handle it.
Oxnard is cooler than most areas - as we're near the ocean.

@dancingwoman Have the Aspen's started changing yet? It's been so dry, they may not be too spectacular this year.
Do you ever notice the temperatures in Alamosa? It was 36° there a couple mornings ago. I tell my sister I'm going to move there. I think they never get over 90°.

As I post, it's 46 degrees with a forecast low of 42.
Got out an extra blanket for company staying the weekend.
