Hunky Matt is the star of Bravo's Most Eligible Dallas. The two have maintained that they are friends only, but they are starting to take their relationship public. Taylor was Matt's date at the Cattle Baron's Ball in Dallas, and the couple was "very affectionate with each other. Matt is very protective of Taylor," a source close to the situation tells us.

Taylor has Texas roots, and the fact Matt is from Dallas "is very appealing to her. Matt is a Southern gentleman, and has impeccable manners. Matt is extremely patient and tender with Taylor and supports her and never second guesses his intentions. She is safe with him, something she hasn't felt in a very long time," the source said.

Taylor's estranged husband, Russell, killed himself in August.
