If you dare be honest and badmouth QVC in any way you're review will be shot down.  I ordered the LeCreuset (today's special value) pan recently and wound up returning it.  There were several flaws which I pointed out in my review, then I went on to say that numerous products recently were unacceptable and returned.  I got a condecending letter from QVC telling me to think long and hard before pushing the button to order.

They keep tabe on me and note that my percentage of returns to keeps was unacceptable.  Wouldn't you think if someone returned a lot of stuff (for valid reasons) that there was something wrong with the stuff - but instead QVC seems to think there is something wrong with me.  If it down't fit - it doesn't fit. If you don't like it - you don't like it.  If you paid QVC a certain amount and found the same item for less.  If it won't hold a charge?  Fabric issues, sensitivity issues, etc.

Anyway don't say anything negative about QVC on a review - they will refuse to post it.

QVC thinks you should follow their rules.  You didn't review the item - you reviewed QVC and those are two different things.

I think they would have posted your negative review if you just written about the flaws in the product.  Try it and write another big headline telling us that you got published.  I know they publish negative reviews.  I've seen them.

I also discount all reviews that are really rants about the company.  I just don't trust them -  not on the website reviews and not here.  I just assume they're part of the overall negativity of the forums.

Well it's not what you say but how you say it.  It's also a review of the product not QVC.    I've had a few bad reviews rejected, reworded them and they posted.

Reviews are for reviewing the product - not QVC.  OP, actually sounds like you should be shopping elsewhere.  Why do you continue shopping at QVC?

Just the opposite happened to me.  I had just bought a very expensive Affinity diamond ring.  I went to the reviews after purchasing on air.  One review said that the woman got her Affinity diamond ring.  She then took it to her jeweler and he said they weren't diamonds, they were white sapphires!!!!!  Can you imagine QVC actually printing this review??!!??  When I receive my ring, it's going straight to the jewelers to have the stones checked out!!

QVCs review process is outsourced.  The company checking the reviews are following standards when they publish the review.  A bad review will get published if it is written about the product.  We all know though that sometimes inappropriate reviews slip through.

Just like the forums, QVC has clearly-defined standards for its reviews.  QVC is quite clear, and it is happy to have customer input (both positive and negative), but one does have to follow a few simple rules.

The OP -- like so many others -- either felt the ules does not apply or prefers to ignore them, and the complains because she does not get her way.

The review about the diamonds being sapphires is very serious!!  QVC could lose its license!  I'm really suprised it got printed at all!  I didn't know the reviews were outsourced!  Maybe that's not such a  good idea.

I seriously doubt Q would lose their license, but Affinity could if it's true.  I'll be interested to see what your jeweler says.

Re: REVIEWS unposted

[ Edited ]

I am a Top 100 reviewer and have written plenty of bad reviews over the years that were published.   Of course I first read the standards for writing reviews and knew they were interested in the performance of the item,  not customer service issues.

It sounds to me as though you got reprimanded for too many returns and now you want to blame your poor shopping habits on QVC.

We here are all Q shoppers too and we know you have to make a lot of returns to get the "letter", so I'm sorry but you'll get no sympatthy from me.   In the great scheme of things,  your excess returns cost me money.
