[Love my grandkids]

For some unknown reason, this song had been going through my head today and I've been singing it and enjoying it! I don't recall who did it, maybe Chubby Checker? Anyway at 71 I'm loving this silly old song!

If so, I remember doing this while in the Caribbean.

When I taught elementary and middle school music years ago, I made a tape of Chubby Checker's hit  that played over and over again. I had students in various classes compete as to "how low they could go." I think the lowest number (for middle school) was 21 inches.

I just listened to it on YouTube and it brings back so many happy memories. I couldn´t do it. I always hit the pole lol.

Now I´m all hyped up. I´ll get a pole from Home Depot and take it to my sister´s house. We spent a few years in the Caribbean and had fun doing this.

I know her kids would have fun trying this out because they have not done it before.
