I hadn't bought pantyhose in decades, then I had to stand in front of church--I had to buy black ones--

I used canned soups in my crockpot.
Cream of something I hope! LOL Me, too! Always will and teaching my DD to do the same! Putting on my protective clothing now.

Hard to find them wasn't it? I admit ... I wear them and it's hard to find when you need them.

Try Nordstroms. They carry them.
I also have seen inexpensive panty hose in Walmart....entire displays of them.

honestly, I didn't even know where to look. I got some at the grocery store. They're fine. I washed them and am waiting for the next time I need them. I have no problem with others who wear them but I just don't anymore.

As my mom became older, she wore thigh-highs. Easier to get into them.

I wear bare legs or tights

Nordies is the place for pantyhose--esp. the pre-season sale that occurs in late July each year. I wear pantyhose a lot, and don't find them uncomfortable. They've gotten way more expensive (even on sale) over the years but they fit better than they used to.
I don't know if the Q still sells them, but my exception and negative rec. would be Spanx. Hideously uncomfortable and they don't make any iota of difference in how a dress looks, at least for me. And they are too expensive! I feel like a sausage inexpertly packed.
Nordstrom brand and Donna Karan are good. I like ultra sheers and sometimes they are pretty fragile, but I have some I have had for years. They have to be handwashed and hand-dried.
The supermarket colors aren't good. One wants very light, clear, sheer pantyhose and they have a cost, but they are great.
I absolutely love tights and wear them, too, they they won't do with dressy dresses.
