They seemed to have lost their best vendors. I got so many nice things for the home, patio and yard. My favorite lamp came from Zulily, not to mention 50+ pairs of shoes. Now I rarely buy anything.
speaks volumes about the Q doesn't it,
example of what happens when companies divert from what made the good

I'm not surprised. Qurate's stock was de-listed a week or two ago so you know they're in a dire situation.
And I'm not surprised they're in trouble given host's antics, overtalking, personal talk, boring products, same products (or variations of) shown week after week after week.
They included a misogynistic comment (moms having fun shopping) so you know they're out of touch.

Actually, Zulily's initial and main mission was to offer products for children that couldn't be found anywhere else. Let's be real, 98% of shoppers looking for babies & children items are moms. I don't see anything wrong with stating that outright. They had buyers and operations managers that focused on baby & kids fashion and products (there was a video on Zulily years ago). They want to fill the gap in the industry that isn't so mass produced by mega conglomerates. They partnered with a lot of small businesses to reach that market.
They also offered a lot of QVC brands eventually, a lot of other fashion brands (good and bad), home items and decor.
I love Zulily, and always managed my expectations on delivery. Translation: I read the item page where it stated the estimated delivery. Zulily does not have a warehouse. Their items come directly from the brand, and that could be anywhere. I never once had an item that took longer than their estimated delivery time, whether they stated 4 days, or 4 weeks.
Despite their terrible website, every morning after 9am I'd check to see what's new (they refreshed their "new items" on the website at 9am every day).

@Caaareful Shopper @CalminHeart My "moms" comment was about language. To me, they should have used "mothers" in a formal business press release. But I'm probably 40 50 years older than the person who wrote it, so it may be a generational thing.
However, it definitely feels outdated. "Parents" would be my choice.

@PickyPicky3 I see your point

So begins the beginning of the end?

@Commoner Exec Mr Wilkes I was thinking the same thing, will Zulily still offer QVC items. I felt Zulily had become the dumping grounds for overstock as well as items not selling well on the Q.
Also, the site was much more user friendly prior to Qurate taking over. Every day it was kind of exciting to search NEW and only the new items came up at the top of the page. Lots of unique items at prices that were the best that could be found. Now, the NEW tab is useless. It brings up items at the top of the page that have been on the site for days.
As you, I still buy occasionally but weeks will go by when I don't even go on the Zulily site. Whereas, in the past, it was something I looked forward to every morning.

@Caaareful Shopper Yes, I stated pretty much the same as you. I couldn't wait until 6:00 AM (I'm on the West Coast) to see what new things were offered. As I mentioned in another post, the items were so unique and different as well as having the best prices. Shipping was the only factor. Like you said, they were upfront though and you knew it would take awhile. You couldn't shop there though if you needed something within a week or two, you most likely would not receive it.

They should never have acquired it. Zulily was better without Qurate and Qurate was better without Zulily. Hoping fresh management can salvage it and return it to some semblance of what it was at one time.
