Just commented on this subject on another thread in here.  Unfortunately, less and less about the garment is discussed, especially when hosts are paired together.  Sure,  you could go online to get more details, but why should you have to?  It's the host's or hosts' job to give all the details.

@ciao_bella   Exactly !!

Wish they posted on air some of the  garment measurements as they did back in the day . They try to say  " order your usual QVC  "size but  this does not always work . Also watch dress lengths  as they vary

Remember when they use to tote their measuring tape for clothing and rulers for jewelry?

Oh yeah I do remember that!   Not anymore !

Re: Quit talking and discuss sizing , length etc

I watched the D&C repeat show this morning with Kerstin, one of the hosts I just don't care for and usually do not watch, but I wanted to see what they were offering. She proceeded to talk about all kinds of personal stuff, i.e., why she loves summer, doesn't like autumn although her daughter does, etc., etc., but not much about the actual clothing presented. Gary even seemed to be speechless, he seems to like to talk about the offerings. I understand we can look online and get the information but am thinking there's not a lot of reasons to even be on the TV any longer. I'm not interested in the hosts or their lives or their silly banter. I even had to look up how to spell "Kerstin". The reason I've always shopped the Q for clothing is that they used to explain the actual size, fabric, etc., something that most online stores do not. I'm a bit disappointed and am wondering if I'll see the end of TV shopping one day soon.

Disenchantment and disappointment could be showing up in latest customer count declines:

As of 6-30-2023 total QxH customer count down 12.8%

Existing customers: down 13.7%

These days I shop mostly from Items Recently on Air.  But truth be told, not doing much buying.

Interesting but not surprising.  Us older folks are either dying off or can't afford the prices.  I wonder if anyone under the age of 50 is buying anything from shopping channels.

Re: Quit talking and discuss sizing , length etc

This complaint has been repeated and repeated and repeated....and the chit chat shows continue and get worse. They obviously don't care. The hosts act like they're doing a talk show starring themselves. Heck with the merchandise. I actually heard Kerstin say "who cares?" when a co-host asked something about the item being sold.  Plenty of talk shows around and with more talented hosts if I want one.

I'm done with commenting and complaining about something that will not change. Who cares?

If they don't describe the item and suggest going to the website, why have the TV presentation at all?  I don't understand.  I've felt for quite awhile QVC and all the shopping channels should just become online retailers.  Why not???

That's where they are headed!  They are slowly morphing into online retailers with lots of "fun" programming all over social media.  That's why there is so much emphasis on the hosts, their families, vacations etc.  Personalities draw younger shoppers in, younger shoppers actually but stuff.  In 10 years, tv shopping as we know it won't exist.

I never hear the inseam on pants, and that is all I want to know. So if some one told the inseam I'm shocked.
