I know I have a lot of quirks and I even tell hubby when I do some things that it is just one of my wierd quirks.

One of the biggest things that annoys me is having my face touched
I am particular about how the dishes are put in the dishwasher
I can't stand canned Tuna so I refuse to try Tuna steak
I talk to myself

I don't shake hands ,ever. I am not nasty about it, and people seem to accept it

@mimomof4, I carry on entire conversations with myself! That's a quirk?!?! LOL - it drives my husband bats!

there is not enough hours in the day to list all mine, I am OCD,I love to clean and it has to be perfect. I vacuum daily,mop kitchen floor daily. clean the bathrooms every day...geesh..I am nuts! However,I do find time to cook and bake every day. I love to bake..

Yeah, really - how much time do you have?

I have some that make no sense to me at all. Like there are some every day words that I hate. No reason relative to the words, I just hate the words.

I don't like feet. I don't want to see anybody's feet - at all - ever! If they have nail polish on the nails that skeeves me out to no end. I have no idea why. It's just a visceral reaction.

I don't like crowds either, but I think that is in the normal realm of things. I don't really want people, especially strangers and even acquaintances, touching me. Not every acquaintance, just most.

I like order. I don't like things helter skelter like things that are unorganized (although you wouldn't know it if you saw SOME of the rooms in my house!). I don't like cabinet doors just sitting open.

As you can see, I could go on all day. I spend a lot of time in my head. I think too much. Also, as another poster mentioned, I often have conversations in my head.

I'll stop now.

Seems like several here have the same quirks. Maybe we're the normal people after all,lol!!

@feline groovy, now that my friend is most definitely not a quirk! That's just good common sense - animals are far more loving, trusting and loyal than far too many people! And when they kiss you, you know it's sincere! I have a chow mix rescue that's 14 1/2 and I've had her since she was a year old. She is the sweetest thing on 4 paws, but not a kisser. When she wants to show affection she brings one of her babies, drops it in your lap and then puts her head on on top of the baby sitting in your lap. I love her to pieces!

I think every person has quirks; some are so common they don't seem weird. I totally avoid nail salons; do my own and can't stand the idea of anyone touching my feet. Can't stand the sound of people popping gum or making any other obnoxious noise like chewing with their mouth open, etc. Cannot stand any Progressive commercial; I truly get annoyed and upset and will leave the room if I don't have the remote in my hand....I find them very insulting.
