Quiet Riot: Remember this rock-n-roll band?!!

Quiet Riot lead singer:  Kevin Dubrow

'Botched' co-host:  Terry Dubrow

Brothers!!

Kevin died of a drug overdose in 2007.

I stumbled across this today (late to the party!) & had to share!

Quiet Riot didn't have too many hits, but definitely

'C*m On Feel The Noize' got played in every sports arena in the '80s.

Funny!

Yes, I remember them and that song.   Interesting about Terry Dubrow being a brother to one of the band members.

Thanks for sharing, @sidsmom!

Gosh, I didn't know that.  They sure do look alike.  A lot.

Quiet Riot had another hit I remember in "Bang your Head."  Definjitely a heavy metal band.  I did not know the lead singer had passed away due to drugs.  That is too bad, I am sorry to hear it.

Very interesting info.  Thanks for posting.

I spent a whole lot of time in different ice arena's in the Midwest in the 1980's, but until your post, I had never heard of them, or any of the songs you mentioned.

Maybe hockey wasn't their sport and they were primarily played in football/baseball and basketball stadiums or arena.

i agree....definitely more heavy metal/hard rock rather than rock n roll.

@hckynut

It was played a lot in many professional sports settings.

Here in Dallas,....Stars, Cowboys, Mavericks...yeah, even today it'll rotate from time to time through the stadium sound system during the game.  Ever so often, when watching a game on TV, you'll hear it in the background.

I found an online list of popular Stadium Anthems.

Yep, it's there.

I think my younger brother was also a fan, along with Ozzie Osborn, AC/DC to mention a few.  I know these groups because I was living with my Mom during my separation from my first marriage and my son was only 6 years old and he idolized my brother.  I didn't want him to listen to the music because I felt it inappropriate for him.  It was a tense time I tell you.
