I really am not even sure if the petition will help or change anything.. Be careful ladies and gents.
Don't worry - there are enough of us who do feel comfortable signing petitions to make a difference. You must do as you see fit. Perhaps contribute to one of the conservation funds?
The petitions aimed specifically at the White House are legit and can force some kind of mandatory action, if a minimum of 100,000 signatures are gathered. I believe the current one had more than that in just 4 hours.

Thank you for posting. I signed the petitions. When I read he was just doing what he loves doing, I was sickened. If the reports are correct, he paid around $35,000 for the privilege of being a coward. He's despiccable.

Actually he paid $55,000 for this hunt and he's killed 43 other big game animals before Cecil, all costing in the tens of thousands
As a matter of fact, after killing Cecil, he wanted to kill an unusually large elephant before he left, but they couldn't find one big enough to satisfy his ego.

Well folks, you got your way, and now the unintended--but really quite foreseeable--consequences have hit.
While the West through a hissy fit about trophy hunting, the animals started going into the villages, and the jobs are disappearing.
