Questions about Amazon returns

I do not have a printer.  I have two returns for Amazon that I can take to Kohl's on our next trip to the Kohl's cities, both 90 miles away.  What do you have to take with you, since there is no packing slip or return slip?  Do all Kohl's offer this Amazon return service?

@depglass  once you're finished with the return, it will ask if you would like to Print or have it emailed to your phone. I always choose email and then when you get to Kohls, it will be scanned.

It usually shows the Kohls in your area.

If it doesn't you can always call Kohls and ask.

You don't need to make your return at Kohl's you know, right? I surely wouldn't travel 90 miles to make an Amazon return. I live very rural and just take my returns to our locally owned drug store. I get my refund within hours.

@depglass  Do you have a UPS Store closer than Kohl's?  You can take your return there. The directions for returning on Amazon are quite explicit once you indicate you want to return an item.  Just follow their directions.  You don't need a printer.

Re: Questions about Amazon returns

Our UPS used to have morning hours for customers, now its closed all day, maybe for Covid.  They did have a small sized return box out front, into which I stuffed a box.  As I drove away I saw an employee practically dismanteling the box to get my package out.  I rarely buy gambles from Amazon.  Quite frankly this is one of the reasons I buy from QVC, not all these ^%$#@ hassles.

Amazon returns are SO EASY!  Go online and say you want to return. They send you an email that you show at the ups store along with the unwrapped pkg. Thats it,  They handle the rest. Couldn't be easier.

At my kohls, the Amazon return desk is at the back of the store. Can be a problem if your item is heavy or bulky.

@depglass I don't know if all Kohls offer this. Do you have a smartphone? You can just pull up the return code and show it to the Kohl's employee and hand her your item (don't box up) and you'll get your refund within a few hours.  (For me Amazon doesn't always give me the option to return at UPS, only Kohls.)

Amazon will mail you a return label for $1.00.

I have found the Kohl's Amazon return lines very long -- frequently over a ten minute wait. On the other hand, they give you a 25% off coupon to use while you're in the store. Clever marketing.

Re: Questions about Amazon returns

I do not have a printer.
I wrote the numbers off the bar code on a piece of paper along with my name and address and taped it on the package.
I found an Amazon locker near me .
They emailed me a code and I typed it in and put my package in and I was done.
I had a credit that day.
