Somebody tell me why you wouldnt just crop the image in Edit on Camera Roll then insert in message like here.  Whenyou crop in Camera Roll the image is converted to a jpeg. Seems simpler.image.jpeg

@Shawnie

I was doing exactly what you explained and it was quick and easy.....until the new IPad DL.  Now, I am unable to use this feature.

Ok, then it is either the new DL or something in the forum is not compatible with the new IOS.  That is what I suspected.  But then i was totally confused when people started talking about using photo editing apps.  I think it is the forum that needs to make the adjustment so that in IOS 10 a .png is accepted as well as a jpeg.

Yes, you know those numbers I said to ignore at the bottom of the screen?

IMG_2391.JPG

 This is your 2nd screen. The numbers at the top and bottom should look like these (if they aren't would you please let me know?)

These numbers are the dimensions. If you change them, the photo will be cut off...

@LTT1

The dimensions are 904x1220

These were the dimensions after install!

I need help with changing to the correct dimensions, please.

Re: Question for those who use IPad to post images

@butterfly123

Can you type in 1536 in the first box at the top for the numbers and 2048 for the 2nd number?

So, what you will have is a picture that is a picture that is

1536 x 2048.

This should give you a picture that is dimensionally correct.

Keep in mind:

the app only automally changes the picture to a jpeg.

it asks to to enter the dimensions (in pixels) that you require.

[The photoshop app might be more to your liking in a that it would keep the original size.]

@SouthernBee

looking pretty good!

If you would like the picture to show lengthwise, you might try rotating it in the camera roll using the crop feature before using the app.

@SouthernBee

Its ok... keep up the good work!

I can see from you post that the bottom is cut off. Let me put it in the app to see its dimensions unless you know that the dimensions are correct?
