Question for K-cup users.......

Is anyone really happy with the inserts for using your own coffee in your Keurig? I have the grey one with the little gold filter inside, and no matter how little coffee I put inside, I get a ton of coffee grounds in my coffee! Also, a large amount of water spills outside my mug as the water is running through. It's a mess!! Could this one be defective, or have other people had the same problem? Is there anyone happy with their filter? I like my coffee strong so I want one I can really pack a lot into.
