Good morning, I have a question about how you go about paying your Q card bill online? Do you use an app? I'm done with Synchrony Bank's paper statements. I downloaded a Synchrony app, but couldn't find where or how you pay your Q card. Any help is appreciated.

I just click on pay your Q bill from this screen and it takes me to Synchrony. I am set up with user name and password. I've had it set up for years but you can also pay your HSN bill there if you have one. You can pay it there even if you don't set up a user name and password.

Effie, i am also very uncomfortable with the Synchrony company. Their policies, paper and online formats, and the way things work on their website, are all NON user friendly compared to any other credit card or store account I have used. This is likely not what you want to hear, but I personally do not recommend being tied any closer to this business through using an app they provide, and especially not by making direct payments to them--which basically gives them a doorway to your bank. I do trust my bank, and use their bill payer service, where i am the one initiating the payment each month. Worth the risk reduction to take this extra trouble, in my opinion.

@KaySD Thank you! That makes a lot of sense. I've been a Q card user for eons. Last month I paid my bill two days after I received it (which left 2 week processing time). They did not process it until after the late period date and charged me $45 for interest and late fees. When I called them, the rep said they could only refund the late fee, but not the interest. Where does the check go when it was mailed on July 5th and not cashed until July 19th? Capital One processed my payment in 4 days! I'm going to be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau for unethical billing. I've never made a late payment in my entire life. So it tells you how unscrupulous Synchrony bank can be. Thanks for the good advice.

Another way to pay any type of credit card is to set up the card detail in your own bank payment system.
Then when you log into your bank account all your payees drop down and you can do several at once with only one login.

I pay using my laptop. I don't go to Synchrony. Instead go to the drop down window on any page while on the Q site where it says to sign in. You'll see "Pay my QCard bill".
After clicking on that option you just need to have a user name & password and you can pay your bill. You can also manage your account from there.

Thanks, Effie. I use this card when I want to use ezpay, and pay in full every month using my bank's bill payer service, so I don't have any issues--sorry to hear about yours! But I still feel uncomfortable with them--and stay at arms' length in every way I can. Did you know that if you pay their fee to get paper statements, they will no longer allow you to look at your sttements online? Hmmm. Please pass me the Thesaurus so I can look up the opposite of "transparency."

i pay online at synchrony. it is called "mysynchrony."
it is great because it gives me ALL of my synchrony accounts in one place once i sign in. i can pay multiple bills with one single login.
it also allows you to "pay as a guest."

Would you be able to view the check and see when they deposited it and if it was before your due date it seems they should refund the full amount.
