Question about moving

My daughter will be relocating to another state because of a job promotion.

She will be moving from our home into her own apartment.

Since she doesn't have furniture to move, she will probably have to share a national moving van with someone else.

How do we make sure that her things don't pick up any unwanted travelers (bed bugs - roaches)
