I won't make this thread about anyone in particular, since webbie has taken exception to discussion of certain news stories. This is just hypothetical.
If someone is charged with multiple counts of the same sort of crime, how is jail time worked out?
If a person commits, say, ten acts of robbery against ten victims, is that one sentence for robbery, or ten sentences added together? Five years total for the single crime of robbery, or five years times ten separate acts, fifty years total?
