Question about how to get a video on youTube legally -choirs, instruments, etc

Our church did the most magnificent job Sunday in singing The First Song of Isaiah which several church already are listed, but I would love to see how we go about getting ours on in the right manner. I was absolutely teary eyed by the time the choirs, instrumentalists, and dancer finished and would love to share it with everyone and if not YouTube, how to get it on Facebook. HELP!!!

What is the video recorded on? A cell phone video is easy to upload to youtube just follow the directions on your account. If it's on a dvd that was recorded by a private company they probably put it on a non uploadable dvd. Otherwise uploading from a standard dvd shouldn't be that difficult.

I would have loved to upload part of my son's high school variety show but the guy who did the recording and sold the dvds put them on non uploadable discs. It's annoying that I had to pay $20 for a dvd of my own child's performance (duet with another kid) and I can't share it.
