Question about how long puppies grow till full size...

I have the little rescue NiKi & when we got him he was 10 wks 4 lbs. We just weighed him & he is now 11lb. & is 5 mos. Do you guys know how long puppies keep growing? Like up to a yr. or something? We arent sirethe breed. We think a ShihTzu mix, but I have had 2 people tell me they are positive he is a Havenese(sp?) Anyway what ever we dont care lol we love his little ole body! But he is growing like a weed & we kind of wondered where he might stop! Hoping someone might know! Thanks
