Question about health benefits after age 26?

My son is under his dads insurance...right now he is 25.

He works a part time job, and goes to school. Right now his part time job does not offer any insurance.

He is turning 26 in Novemember, and it looks like he will be dropped from his dads plan.

Are there any options out there? Or do they just drop these kids on their 26th birthday?

Any help is appreciated!
