Can someone explain in simple terms how the @ feature works?  I just saw a response @Cakers nd @Burnsite but I have no clue how that works?

@Just press the @ symbol and user names pop up.  Otherwise you press @ and type in a user name.

@Cakers3  Now you will get a message saying you were mentioned in a post, by using @   before the poster name.

The person you @  to will see the message in  "notifications" (where the hearts are), and know that you have responded to them.

The @ and then name sends a notification to that poster so that you know they answered you, looking for you or are acknowledging you.

Thanks everyone - I do see the notifications that I've been "mentioned" in certain threads but didn't know how to do t @ -oknow I think I have it.  LOL  *red face*

I only have done a few @. so that I hope the person sees it. I would not want 1000 @ to me each day.lol
