Queen Elizabeth at Opening of Exhibition Commemorating 200th Birthday of Queen Victoria

The Queen attended a new exhibition to celebrate the life of her great, great grandmother today as she officially opened Buckingham Palace for the summera re-creation of a Victorian dinner table

The summer exhibition at Buckingham Palace, which is officially opened by the Queen today, is dedicated to Queen Victoria, marking 200 years since the erstwhile's monarch's birth in 1819. Among the treasures on display is a gilded throne, which was commissioned in 1837

@ms traditional  A beautiful exhibit--thanks for posting!  I like the Queen in a print, which she normally does not wear.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
