Quatrains anyone?

Long aeons past, we woupld oft play at quatrains: some profound, others puerile, some simply pleasurable pastimes. These patches of prattle were fun --- wouldst any enjoy participating once more?

Poets, ye poets
Vwnture forth from your dens;
Come chide,charm,cajole us
We wimmens and mens.
