@noodleann I agree.  I have received so many emails like, from, it seems like, everyone I have ever done business with.  Virtual signaling is all it is.  Everyone had to jump on the same bandwagon and do it.

I am honestly of two minds about these statements.

My immediate reaction is where have you been and why is this a new concept to you and the second is, well, if you haven't been practicing it, I am glad you are catching up.

But I think the most wise thing I have read in regard to all of this and other things is the wisest among us know when their voice needs to speak and when they do not need to be heard at all.

Re: QVC statement

[ Edited ]

I think that what has happened over the last month or so is one of those rare times when it is appropriate to make an acknowledgment.

I've been thinking that for weeks.

If you have to say it, your actions aren't showing it.

As I see it, this implies that most of QVC's staff and vendors are guilty.  It also implies many customers are also guilty.

I know who it is specifically directed...beyond disgusted and tired of it!

None of these companies think about helping all the small innocent business owners, all races, that were looted, destroyed, and burned.

@esmereldathank you. I noticed that I did not choose the preferred spelling. I edited it.

@Foxxee, for many of us, the issue is much larger than the looters. They were not protesting. They were taking advantage of the situation.

As to whom the statement was intended, I believe it's every one of us. I have no problem admitting that I need to face my own biases that I've internalized. It's a work in progress for me. We'll never be perfect beings, but we can do better.
