One of the strangest things about QVC is that NOBODY who works for them--either hosts or customer service people--has ever or will ever breathe a word to the customer about ""click here"" to get garment measurements. It's like the CEO decreed that anyone who reveals this info will be shot immediately!!!!!

I can remember when we were told by the hosts that oce you knew your QVC size you could always order that size and know it would fit. Obviously those days are long gone. Now sizing for different lines is all over the place with no consistency. Why should I have to see a garment on TV and then go to my computer and pull it up and check those stupid Click Here measurements before I can order a article of clothing. It's no wonder I order so little clothing from QVC anymore.

I only know I'm sick to death of the inconsistencies and sending clothes back at no little expense.

Yes, same here. I feel like I just can't win, anymore. Hips seem to be huge on anything no matter the size. I think I give up.

I've gotten things from many of the QVC clothing lines, and what I've found is that it's totally a hit or miss game as to whether anything will fit. Sometimes, and I will repeat, sometimes, the garment I receive has exactly the same measurements as the "click here" measurements and it fits.

Most of the time, the actual garment measurements of the item I get at home don't match either the "click here" garment measurements or the size chart measurements. Then within clothing lines, one tee shirt in a Small will have one measurement, but another tee shirt made just like it (but maybe a different neckline or a different print), will have different measurements and I have to order a Medium. I ordered the How Smooth original boot cut jeans in a 10 and they were and still are a perfect fit, and the measurements were exactly according to the "click here" chart. Then in the new (improved - Hah!) How Smooth straight leg jeans and capris, I ordered the 10 and had to send back and reorder in a 12 because they changed the whole thing. And within THAT particular item (which they say you can always count on it fitting), I could wear the 12 in one color but another color was too tight.

I used to always wear a Medium in a top with SG and D&Co, now most of the time I have to order a small (and I sure haven't lost any weight), but then depending on what they show for the measurements, I have to order BOTH SIZES because the measurements are right in between what they were in another item and I don't know which will fit.

I realize this sounds like a rant, and I guess it is, but it has been so frustrating that I've decided I'm done with ordering clothes from QVC, at least for now. I absolutely hate having to order, reorder, package up, send back, and then probably have it held against me by QVC for having to do so. So, NO MORE!{#emotions_dlg.confused1}{#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Pay attention to the click here measurements-- those are the actual garment measurements.

But even those are wrong - often!! I was looking at a top the other day and the larger size had a smaller chest measurement than the smaller size??? I have often ordered two of the exact same item in the same size, but in different colors. They do not fit the same and I have to send one back! I agree with all the posters...the inconsistency is a big Q problem but the buyers get charged the return!!

I think you need to look at the actual garment measurement, not the generic size chart.

The measurements are going to depend on how the garment should fit meaning is it fitted, semi-fitted, loose, etc.

As I said previously, I never buy anything without looking at the "click here" actual garment measurements. However, when I get it home and it doesn't fit, I take very accurate measurements to compare to the "click here" measurements, and sometimes they are as much as 1 - 2" different. That makes a big difference in whether something fits or not, or looks good on a person's body. Sure, I know they measurements might not be EXACT, and I can sometimes live with the difference, but if it's too much, I would never be happy with it and probably wouldn't wear it. If they would at least make the garments to match the "click here" measurements, that would be a big help, but it's a toss up whether they will be the same when you get it home.{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Why in the world with all of the mentioned issues would anybody buy clothing items here then? ..

I ask in sincerity (you cannot tell written word) with so many clothing retailers out there with an online presence with coupons and free S&H...I would skip right over this place. I get no wanting to run to the store/mall saving on gas, wear and tear of your body, mobility issues, not having a malls near you...lol..

I have read consistently about their sizing issues on most lines..then the wrong sizes/items being shipped etc. Lets not forget the biggie..high cost of shipping and handling. Then the hassle of repacking it back up and sending it back...and then forgetting...one time I ordereda pair of earrings from Shiphq and they were much bigger then I had hopped. Their measurements were on screen but Iunderestmiated their actual isize

There is nothing here that cannot be replicated elsewhere I don't think....
