OK, I debated on putting this out there but I will.  I was checking my auto-deliveries tonight and one thing led to another (checking the account).

I saw where some of the things I'd ordered were being sent to one of my daughters (in another state, different name).

Long story.....short.  Back when I'd had something sent to her the person working for QVC changed my information so that everything would be sent to my daughter, not me!

I usually order everything automatically by phone, but I wanted something (cookies) sent to her, so I talked to a person that one time.  It was then that the STUPID person pushed or did something to switch my address with my daughters so that everything, everything would go to her!!

She lives in a place where deliveries are taken to some place and she picks them up.  People aren't allowed to come into the area.

I was lucky tonight, I got someone on Customer Service who was intelligent.  I was so frustrated, I said to just cancel all of it rather than have my daughter try to repack it to get it mailed to me.

The CS rep and I finally decided it would be easier for my daughter to just refuse delivery on all of these items and send them back to QVC.  So, I will no longer get the items and I will have to make sure I don't get charged for them and so on and so on.

There have been a few times when I've spoken to QVC reps who answer the phone that they didn't know their head from a hole in the ground.  It was usually later in the evening and/or on the weekends.  I don't know if that has anything to do with it, just something I've noticed.

It might sound like not a big deal but I order a lot of things (clothes mostly) so we're talking about quite a few items over a period of over 2 weeks!

I'm posting this to warn people to make sure QVC has not changed the address they have on record of where you want the items sent.

I noticed they've changed the recording when you order automatically now, so make sure they have the right address.

If this helps even one person here, it's been worth it to post this mix up.  I wouldn't ordinarily do this because I don't want people coming on here bla blaing about how they check their stuff and it would never happen to them and so on and so on.

Then there's my favorite (?) posters who brag that they don't order anything or much from QVC.  Good for them.

If you order online, you can see your default address.

Go into your account online to check out the addresses you have on file.

@tansy Yes, that's how I found out they'd messed up the addresses!  I was going over the Easy Pays, etc and caught it!

I'm calling CS again tomorrow morning because I realized in order for my daughter to send me the 3 Isaac tops I want she will have to open up the other packages otherwise she won't know which package they are in.

The fun never ends.  I remember thinking 2 times when I've spoken to two different people at night they acted like they didn't know what they were doing (like it taking more than a few minutes to order something) I kept saying, "Are you still there"?  They'd say, "Umm...wait a minute for my screen to come up".  That's a bad sign!  Ha!

It seems they would have this in their training.  Just think of holiday wreaths, food presents, and gifts.

Sorry you had to put up with this!

Sorry I missed that you had checked your account.  I never order over the telephone anymore because it's quicker online.

Yes this is a big mess and though I've never used bill to/ship to, I now have no interest in ever doing so!  I would be furious over such a stupid mistake too.

Give your daughter the tracking numbers of the packages you don't want her to return to QVC.  It's on the outside of the package.

I order everything online, and don't bother with ordering by phone.

That way, I can see exactly what address the items are going to.

It is so much easier to do that than to fuss and worry when you order by pohone.
