A couple of screw ups and that would have been it for me. It's not like there are not a lot of other shopping options usually cheaper than QVC.

This is what I was thinking too. I had a problem once receiving the wrong sized item. QVC was excellent about it.

I'd not put up with having these problems over and over. I'd be shopping elsewhere.

This reminds me of those that complain about their items not being delivered in time for Christmas after Q guaranteed delivery and the posters say it's happened every year for the last 15 years. LOL

Whatever. I have been shopping with QVC almost from the beginning; my sisters and many of my friends and co workers are also long time, frequent QVC shoppers. Yes, some of us have a mishap or two over the DECADES that we've been QVC shoppers but we're talking a few incidents over thousands of purchases. That comes out to QVC being almost perfect when it comes to deliveries. Yes, I read the delivery horror stories but that has not been my experience or the exerience of anyone I know. I shop with QVC, in part, because it's so dependable.

Weird..I, too, have NEVER had an issue of getting the wrong order. What's up with that? And why do the same posters have the same order issues? Hummmm.

The gifts I purchase are requested specifically by the recipient, and I like to get people what they ask for, otherwise, I would't be buying gifts here either. If I order for myself and it doesn't work out, I'm disappointed, but really angry when someone else has seen something they really want and simply because Q can't do their job, I have to disappoint that person.

That has been my experience too, in over 20 years. I may have other complaints like price of S&H, but their customer service has always been first class for me.

After all of the poofing, I am surprised this thread is still here, lol. Not because of the subject matter but because of the Title. OP, this is not a slam to you as you are just expressing your opinion, but that TITLE? {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

first of all - if your shopping for a gift for someone you should certainly shop early enough so that should it not be up to expectation for any reason it can be returned and something different bought to replace the gift. I seldom buy gifts from QVC because when I am buying someone a gift I want to be able to see it in person and assess if it is nice enough to be a gift. I did buy a Jim Shore piece for a friend for Christmas but I bought it in July, just in case it wasn't as nice as I hoped I could buy her something else instead. I also would not go out and buy accompanying pieces to go with a QVC item until I saw it in person and was certain I wanted to keep it.

And you don't think ordering in late October is early enough for Christmas? That was part of the point of my post. It isn't like I'm ordering on the 20th of December, then mad when things don't work out.

I buy people what they request, I don't have to see it and I don't have to like it. If they have requested a specific item (and that is always the case with these issues) I want to get them what they want, therefore I order from where they saw the item (and usually it is something only available on Q). And all accompanying pieces were from QVC as well, which makes it that more frustrating.
