Re: QVC provided a defective return shipping label and refused to make it right

[ Edited ]

this happened to me one time using the return label that came in the package with the item.   I tried scanning the label at the Post Offuce self service machines and I kept getting a message that it was an invalid label.  I took it over to one of the P.O tellers and he scanned it and it worked fine but he did put another label on the package.

i just wonder how the OP's package wasn't returned to her by the Post office or maybe it just got lost.   I am surprised the Q wasn't more accommodating about issuing a refund.

Re: QVC provided a defective return shipping label and refused to make it right

@Teddixat - If they never received the return, I wouldn't expect them to issue a refund.  I doubt that any retailer would.

At least, they would require some proof that the item was shipped and I don't see anything mentioned about that in the OP.

If the post office said it was a bad label with missing info, Customer service should be able to view it too.

I’m surprised it left the post office without them creating a NEW label for the pkg.

Not all labels are readable. 🥴

@H2Olily.  Qvc obviously didn't find your story credible.  They are normally very generous with return policies.  Only you and they know the full story so we really can't even express an intelligent opinion.  You should have had something to prove the package was mailed. You have the burden of proof.

It sounds like your case is closed.   Time to move on.   Next time you'll know to be more careful.
