@Tinkrbl44,  You  have to turn on the Quick Reply setting if you want to use it.😊

Steps for those who want this feature:

On the left side of any forum page,

go to

"My Settings" or "Edit my preferences."

Either one will do.

Settings_Preferences

Next, under the "Preferences" section

choose "Display."

Preferences_DisplaySettings

In the list of "Display Settings"

scroll down to find the

"Turn on Quick Reply" option.

TurnOnQuickReply

Be sure to scroll down

and click "SAVE" to activate the change.😊

There's a long, detailed thread on this same topic, explaining the issues of different font sizes and styles and the fact that the same font may look very different depending upon your device and software.

"Please use larger print if you want your opinion read"

(‎04-13-2023 09:54 AM)

click here to read the thread:

https://community.qvc.com/t5/Community-Chat/Please-use-larger-print-if-you-want-your-opinion-read/td...

It's important to note that just because a post looks too small or too large on one device doesn't mean it looks the same on another one.

QVC uses third-party prepackaged "canned" software for the Community, purchased from a web hosting company.

This isn't software QVC developed or designed.

We've been told several times this platform won't be customized or modified in the future, so the best bet is to find ways to use the options on the website and on our devices.

I know that's not good news, but it seems to be the status quo.

I have no trouble reading that at all, but that IS tiny.

I use font #3.

This is font #2.

Actually, I don't care for the bigger fonts either, or some of the scripts.

I doubt QVC can ditch font sizes.  They are part and parcel of the program they use.

It is better to just ask posters to use a larger font.  Some tablets and computers allow the users to enlarge the font by stretching their fingers.

If someone  uses #1 font and you can't read it, it probably wasn't that important.. If it was, they would accommodate everyone by using a larger font.

Asking posters to increase the font size means they have to do it every single time they post.  It's not a set it and forget it type thing.

How about those that complain about the small size increase the zoom feature on their browser, which is a one and done thing,

I have to change the font size everytime I post on these things because I am on a laptop.  Not everyone uses their phone for everything and by the way, I have the Q app on my phone but these Blogs and Forums are not on it.  How do you access this on your phone?

@snipsnapsnur,

To access the Communiity on your phone or tablet, you do the same thing as on a computer.

Just use your web browser and find the site there.😊

Oh, maybe because I have the QVC app on my phone.  Thanks, I'll try Googling it.

I was also wondering if the fonts look differently depending on what device you're using while reading.

Yes, @VanSleepy, they do.😊

The way a device and the software "translates" a post can, and probably will, differ.

That accounts, in large part, for the fact that some posters will say a certain font, font family, or font size looks perfectly fine to them while someone else will say it's 'way too large or 'way too small.

Other things, such as emoticons, also often will look different from one device to the next.
