QVC not responding due to long running script?????

For several days I have been having a terrible time getting on the boards and the above is what comes up at the bottom of the screen. Has anyone else experienced this? If not, is it my computer that needs help?

Try removing and then reloading Javascript. Also, try a different browser.

I had no idea my thread posted twice, the first time it didn't do anything and I had to sign up again. I hate to admit this but I am not computer literate and although I appreciate your advise I am not able to use it. I have no idea what JavaScript is and how do I try a different browser? My ten year old granddaughter would probably be able to answer my questions but she is sleeping, the youth of today, bless their little souls!!!

I had an experience similar to this day before yesterday. A box appeared about running a script.....I didn't have any script running, so I closed it. It kept appearing and I would close out of it. Finally, I completely shut down my computer. The got back into it, and everything has been fine ever since.

I can tell you that yesterday the site froze every time I attempted to use an emoticon.

I don't run Internet Explorer so I don't know if this is still possible.

1. Select ""Tools""

2. Select ""Internet option""

3. Click on the ""Advanced"" tab

4. Scroll through the list of options until you see ""Browsing""

5. Check the boxes ""Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)"" and ""Disable script debugging (Other)""

6. Close and restart IE.

Thank you, I'm going to try it now.

I would download Google Chrome. I have been using it for quite some time and don't have any of the ongoing problems other posters have been having here.
