[halfpint1]

I am halfpint- I have had that name all the time here. Customer service said they can't get into accounts but someone did. Please change it back.

Halfpint:  This has happened to me a couple of times.  I finally re-booted my computer and was able to get back on with my original name.

Give it a try......  Turn it completely off and start it up again.

Yesterday I was prompted to create a new nickname upon login. I'd read that other posters had this issue so I emailed the QVC Social team; they advised that IT was working on the system. I'd also read that if you wait a while and do not create a new nic, the system stops prompting you to create a new name.

This is exactly what happened. I didn't create a new name but waited about 2 hours for things to normalize. It seems once you create a new nickname it makes it difficult to recover your original.

Given the fact this is not a new account, you should be able to change your user name to some form of your original.

We did have a poster called scooter here.

      @halfpint1 (halfpint), I hope you'll send an email to the address @JustJazzmom provided and I hope they can straighten this out for you.  This has to be so frustrating, and it's happened to several posters over time.
