My apologies Pearlee. I don't post very often & didn't realize my blunder. I have now re-posted this new comment on my previous (original) thread so that the original responders will know what has happened so far. Thank you for the little lesson.

I think it's a good thing you started another thread to let us know what came of your correspondence with the Q.  It would have gotten lost in the other thread.

Re: QVC'S PROMPT RESPONSE TO MY FILTHY, DIRTY BAGS OF CLOTHES

A little dirt never hurt anyone.

When I was a young girl and went out to play, I always dressed in clean clothes and wore a wrist watch, while all the other kids were, well kids.  I was small for my age, and I had a neighbor once tell me that getting dirty helps you grow (LOL).

One other thing I don't get is why you would save the packages for two years.  Just don't get what your plan was.

OP, will you be sending QVC the two years worth of bags you've collected?

Re: QVC'S PROMPT RESPONSE TO MY FILTHY, DIRTY BAGS OF CLOTHES

I don't care how the bags arrive. As long, as my contents have not been damaged.

I don't understand the problem.

I toss the bags in the recycle bin, and wash my hands.

End of story.

Re: QVC'S PROMPT RESPONSE TO MY FILTHY, DIRTY BAGS OF CLOTHES

I hope they get the problem fixed.  However, in all my 20 plus years as a QVC customer, I only experienced that one time and it was probably my fault.  We were on an extended vacation and I foolishly ordered an item without thinking that we wouldn't be home when it arrived.  UPS held the package for me for over two weeks and the bag was a filthy mess when the driver delivered it to me.  The driver apologized profusely.  I remember taking it out onto the balcony to open it up, I didn't want to get dirt on my carpet.  The good part was the contents were fine.

I did not reply to first thread, but now a second? Yes i have received very dirty bags, not sure where from right now, but what do you expect? I also have had some boxes in bad shape ,before, but everything was fine inside them, isn't that what matters?

Re: QVC'S PROMPT RESPONSE TO MY FILTHY, DIRTY BAGS OF CLOTHES

I agree with the OP .... the other day, my DH set my newly delivered QVC plastic bag on my counter top, and I couldn't sanitized my counter enough knowing what that black, gritty "tire-mark" looking substance was on it.
