QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

Do you feel the words for QVC still hold true? Yes, it's convenient and maybe the quality in the products are there, but as far as value I'm not sure. There may be value in some categories (cosmetics and skincare), but not for women's clothing. All the different lines are priced too high for me, there was a time I did buy clothing from QVC, but now I shop at Macys and Amazon mostly.

Re: QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

I would currently rank them:

1. convenience

2. quality

3. value

I'm surprised they haven't added an E for entertainment lately, since they seem more interested in having hosts tell us stories than describe the products.

Re: QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

I occassionally buy clothes from here, but much better values at Macy's, Kohls, lands end, LL Bean.  It could be in the eye of the beholder for value.  Honestly, I don't want to pay $50 for a tank or Tee, when I can get several at Macys or Kohl’s for that price with sales and coupons.  A few years ago I bought 7 or 8 tanks from Coldwater Creek, they still look new.  I think they were $70 for 7 or 8 of them.  I know they were under $10.

I don't feel any of those apply any longer.  Convenience used to mean easy ordering and quick delivery.  Items were quality control, but now it takes a long time to receive an item and then it can be a used item.  I rarely shop here anymore and I find today's show to be geared to 12 yr olds.  Sick of the "lounge wear and pj's).

Re: QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

@Jordan2  I shop home, kitchen, garden and decor items. I always check other websites to compare prices, so I think I usually get a reasonable deal. I'm not the kind of person who frequents Home Goods, Marshall's or Hobby Lobby on a weekly basis. Gasoline is too dear these days.

So I would say, yes. It's convenient because I don't have to drive all over to shop. I make sure I'm getting a good value; and, if the item isn't up to the quality I was looking for, I send it back. I haven't spent any money on gas and wasted my time going into multiple stores. Also, on free shipping days, I can send my children and grandchildren something they have been looking for. (I always get a go-ahead from them.)

Re: QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

To me QVC and what those initials represent no longer applies as they did years ago.

Not convenient because it takes so long sometimes!

Not at all value, totally overpriced from anything else you can find for same quality which is hit or miss.

Sometimes, and rarely there is something that is worthy of their initials.

It's not convenient for me when I have to call to ask for my refund? That was the last straw for me.

A refund should just happen in a timely manner.

Re: QVC Quality, Value,and Convenience

Yes to Quality and convenience.  No to value.  But QVC hasn't used that saying in many years.  That was from back in the day when shopping channels were cheaper than brick & mortar stores.   I like the quality in some things, the convenience of home delivery and the variety that Qvc and HSN have on their websites.  I do most of my shopping in QVC.com and HSN.com.   I buy a lot from Amazon but not clothes.  I have a hard time finding clothing on Amazon.

No, they don’t live up to any of their initials and have not for some time. Stopped purchasing clothing from them long ago. Poor quality from Susan Graver. High unwarranted prices on food and clothing. Poor CS makes returning items not convenient. Watch very little, purchase even less.
