Yes! Those video models are way-way too fast.

Extremely cute/beautiful, though, and they model the items very well.

Just very, very fast.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I like the models, however, though it may sound uncharitable, I do not care for wheelchair models. I cannot even explain what it is that makes me feel that way. Sorry.

Pretty accurate. it's the 5'10" part. Doesn't matter if she's Katia or a several plus sizes heavier. It's the height. Most older women don't go through life at 5'10" unless they're a tennis player. Older women shrink. So you're more apt to see 5' and a couple of inches, thin to fat woman. A common demographic QVC viewer.

It helps to remember that Q is not exactly the red carpet or a runway in Paris. You aren't going to see many, if any, high-fashion models on tv. My main peeve regarding the models it that so many of them wear clothing, especially blouses and jackets, that are clearly at least one size too small. When the buttons are gaping open and the sleeves are so tight they can't bend their arms, put on a larger size. When it doesn't fit at all, it's really hard to decide how to figure out whether to size up or down or order my regular size.

A few things come to mind ....

First, any modeling jobs on QVC certainly aren't a full time job. They might get called once or twice a week ... for an hour. Doesn't sound like enough money to actually live on.

Secondly, how long do these models have to DRIVE TO GET TO QVC? If it's a 2 hour drive for one hour of work, is it worth it?

Third ... perhaps it's which model calls in first for the new available job.

@Annabellethecat66 ole buddy, I have to agree with you. Despite some good ones, the Q model corp is not what it used to be. I used to enjoy the iteration of PM Style with Lisa and the model regulars.

@grace1316 First off, please understand that I'm not judging you for your discomfort. In fact I think many people probably feel the way you do but wouldn't admit it.

But I ask you to consider the fact that there are tens of millions of people, who through genetics, tragic accidents, illnesses etc., appear " different" in some way than society's supposed ideal. Should they have to hide in the shadows because it upsets someone?

What if your precious child or grandchild was born with a deformity? What if your handsome son came home from Iraq with his face covered in burns?What if you were left disfigured from a random act of violence? I read that the beautiful QVC model Alex was in a horrible car crash when she was 12 that left her paralyzed. She is an example of courage and great character in my book.

WE, as a society, are the problem if we are so lacking in compassion that we cannot even look at someone we perceive to be different. Through greater exposure we have the opportunity to see that there is nothing here to fear or turn away from, only our own ignorance.
