Re: QVC Likes removing posts

@obinnan  Opinions can be expressed in a way that doesn't tear a person down. Sadly  some don't know how to do that and it turns into a gossip column. Instead of improving the problem it exacerbates it.

Better, imo, to write to the company if it agitates you that much or click off.  The only thing it creates here on the forums is conflict.....especially if the words we use

are slanderous. There are ways to complain without malicious intent and attacking the good name of another person.

After all, I don't think any of these hosts are criminals!

Re: QVC Likes removing posts

I wonder sometimes if the intention of posts such as this are not about stating unhappiness with forum policies or the hosts, but simply to put something 'out there', and then sit back and watch our reactions, for their amusement.

Simply since a post like this is always intriguing and OP shows 4 postings, I checked the profile.  But only this one post shows up.  Glitch?

Should just be reading the #1 for the only post this poster made.  Not good math skills somewhere.

It's likely that 3 former posts by the OP have been deleted.  (Especially given the grievance the OP has.)

@obinnan .................No they dont.  There are plenty of negative posts about hosts.  They remove the ones that are out right nasty and hateful.  As they should.  The company is protecting their employee's.

It might be a useful thing if you go to the Welcome forum and read the rules.

Re: QVC Likes removing posts

I've been looking at the forums for years and feel that it was necessary for them to start weeding out some of the ugly comments. There are still enough to satisfy the Negative Nellies (apologies in advance to anyone named Nellie here). Anonymous posts can get out of hand real quick. Personally, there's enough negativity in our world; reading those posts don't do me any good and I would be horrified to know that some posts may be read by the subject or worse their family members, like a child!

When a poster's posts are poofed the post count remains but the poofed posts are removed from history.
