@Puppy Lips : Many B&M stores no longer have dressing rooms.

After many, many decades as a profoundly active QVC Viewer & Purchaser, unfortunately & sadly, QVC, the Business, offered this Purchaser less & less ROI, altho my profound hopes & sentimentality for QVC never seems to have diminished!

So many times over the years, posters would say they couldn't stand the thought of going to a mall or into a department store, so they gladly purchased from TV and were happy.
I was and am still happy going to B&M stores (the ones that are left....), although I have bought some pieces from QVC (never HSN).
Very rarely do I take something back that I bought at a physical store. Very rarely.
Can't say that about QVC purchases and it's such a pain to return (and costly sometimes).
I hate to see QVC go down. I hate seeing B&M stores close.
I guess it will come down to Amazon and the like being our only choice. I've never bought clothing from A.
But Amazon could by the way of 45s (records). They were taken over by 8 tracks, then cassettes, then CDs then whatever, and now we're back to to vinyl records. lol
I'd love to see a B,B&B or a Pier 1 when I'm looking for something in particular. One could only hope....

@Group 5 minus 1 Really? I would not know that because it has been years since I tried on anything in a dressing room. I guess that makes sense because I bet a lot is stolen from dressing rooms. They were always a mess too - with other people's clothes they tried on still in there, empty hangers, straight pins, etc. I am happy to shop at QVC. I know what lines work for me, which ones don't, and I know my size. It is risky for me to go to other sites and figure that all out again, but I certainly could.
I spend a lot of money at QVC. There are two things that bug me the most. One is the constant changing of the prices. We all want to get the best deal and it is frustrating when you buy something and the next day it is less or it is free shipping. The other is the behaviour of certain hosts. I like to watch the presentations live because you get more info on the clothing and can see it worn on a real person in addition to the online video. But some of the hosts are so darn annoying and cringy that I refuse to watch. QVC has certainly lost sales to me because of certain hosts, and I know I am not the only one.
The other issues don't bother me quite as much - slow shipping, slow return processing, inventory not being updated on the website, etc. I don't want QVC to go out of business, but if they do. they have only themselves to blame (and maybe Jane Treacy)

So why do you and others still shop here if it's so horrible?
Can't imagine I'd ever shop at a store, whether it's brick and mortar or online, if I had all these complaints.
In the early 2000s I shopped QVC a lot for things all kitchen related and Jewelry. A few other household items as well. I don't think I've shopped here since discovering Amazon. Free deliveries, free returns and 5% back and good customer service.

Younger people aren't interested in wearing things like Susan Graver, Denim & Co, Kim, Quacker, Nicole Miller, Beautiful, et al.
The last I've seen young would like was Candace Cameron Burre"
and the Q lost her!

@Pecky wrote:I read something interesting. A business owner tested to see if people would buy american made.
- wanted to see whether people would buy a Made-in-USA version of his specialty shower head.
- He found it would cost three times as much to produce — and raised the sale price by 85%.
- After several days of testing, zero customers bought the USA model.
- To move everything over to the US, he had to find four to six separate suppliers who would handle various aspects of the production process, he said. All told, he found it would cost three times as much to produce — more than the cost of simply paying the tariff.
@Pecky many shower heads are made in the united states which have zero tariffs

@febe1 I'm 77 and don't care for SG, denim and co,and many others. For me it's the fabric mostly, and prints. Style is often a little boxy. But looks good on others, also, all the clothes are made overseas, I don't care for that. I admit if I saw something I loved really loved, that wouldn't stop me. Just haven't. Also, the sizes run big, and are hard to get to fit. Wait...there was a midi dress I bought from Canyon? Not sure of name. Saw online , and grabbed it. Got 5 of them over time when it went on sale ...29 bucks. So comfy, pockets, flattering on , cozy and I wear winter, spring fall. My house dress. Wears like iron!

I thought Candice had many poor quailty clothing albiet cute it was wear once or twice save it for certain days kinda clothing - never bought much clothing at all due to sizing issues with hosts not saying sizes so we can have an idea THEN QVC loses out! I hardly buy clothing but being younger at heart in my 60's I tried something I was surprsed I loved, Joan Rivers!. I have no idea why but took a chance on her Butterknit sleeveless and short sleeve Butter knit tops. Not made of cotton like I have from years ago that are still nice but these are nice like smoothing under a long sleeve cotton top open or even with a longer vest - verstaile layering. Great quailty IMO Bought many as I'm thin upper body apple all my life WORSE now postmeno still small though - so it's like a slight double fabric which feels good for my skinny upper body. Form fitting and I now have a meno belly and from depression eating over many years the belly kind of just sticks out
dang those cookies while Netflixing all night! MY fave jeans not fitting like my body just wants fat there not up top. I dare not buy jeans on Q or HSN it's a hassle and returning fees and well I find these Vendors you mention are just too not in tune with whta many want. I hate to say old lady since it's subjective as I guess I'm one but am young at heart and was a nurse so never needed many dressy clothes for work TG. Jennie Garth has some nice things I bought one but she only does ONE gig.....never brings it back like Kim G. does. I wish Jennie did I'd have bought 20 of a soft sweater she had last winter! The plam trees and stars all over and sayings are SILLY IMHO. Many are...not all but most. Please stop doing that who wnats "salty" or these anchors i see on everything. END the anchor's! pleeeeeze.
Some people you mention may ahve 2 utems out of a slew of their line that seem realitsic to wear. Bring in new blood more often is my 2 cents

@Puppy Lips your last sentence made me laugh (JT) but the slow returns and shipping is rediclous. Yet last week something came in 6 days I was like wth?? odd! and as it should be. My eBay buys come in a heratbeat as does Amazon fatser of course. Q has to and know who they are up agsint and do so very soon, by now [duh] they know but it's been taking so very very long! And this is the prob.
