Thanks, buck-i-nana. I thought it was perhaps like a store credit card, where you accumulate points toward gift certificates.

So, for those of us using visa rewards cards to shop at QVC...we're actually getting something back that Q card users are missing out on.

Buck-i-Nana, Congratulations on the graduation, and hope it was a great event for all!

I'm sorry you had this experience with the QVC card. It's thoughtful of you to turn it into a PSA to help everyone else.

The reason for using only a bank card instead of multply cards from every store and company is it is easier to monitor activity. Most people who have many cards do not check in to see the activity on them. Some one said good luck with that well I have been doing it for years. I don't get many cards for a bunch of "wants". The fact that someone got hacked isn't their fault but there are many tips on the internet to prevent this as much as possible. When stores like Target and QVC have cards they are much more to there benefit than yours. Even the rewards cards, they are not doing it to make you happy, they are doing it to get your money. I am sure others have tips as well? I though this was a good thread because a lot of people are not money savy and we could all learn here.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.
