Yes ... you were all right .... the final charge was $30.  Since I usually pay tips in cash, I couldn't figure it out.  Thanks again!  Woman LOL

They ran the actual price through before they gave you the receipt to add the tip. It happens all the time.

Like many of the others, my husband and I will often pay the restaurant bill with a credit card, but 99% of the time we tip in cash so that the server winds up with the full tip.

We usually go out to breakfast once a week before we both start work.  We generally pay the entire bill in cash.
