Go on ebay and look up your account and see what information is already there.  You might have to update a few thing.

@Tinkrbl44  no field for SSN. so just need to set up a payment method, which expired ... was a paypal acct.  i actually had bid on an item a while ago, but did not win the bid.  the seller accepted CC payments

Better to avoid that, if you can.  Otherwise this unknown seller has your CC information and even if they are honest, they could be hacked.  

@Tinkrbl44   wow good point.  i guess i  am too trusting. i'm happy though that i didnt win the auction.  the price seemed too low.   after googling the item, it looked like a knockoff of an expensive brand's backpack.  i didn't give any payment info.
