Q2 employee fired for prank messages live on air

"In 1998, QVC's 2nd network, Q2, which showed re-runs of unsold products from QVC shows, was told they would be going off the air. The employees at Q2 were given a 30 day notice before losing their jobs. One of Q2's master control operators, (the person who sits in the control room essentially running the network playing back tapes) decided it would be a good idea to put messages up, live on the air, before his last day.

The following VHS footage is the only known historical record of that event. The Q2 employee who did this is now an urban legend amongst QVC employees…"

That brought back memories. I remember Dianne Young and her coneflower neck cream. I still have my Freedom Bag but of course I can no longer use it on airplanes.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I googled the phone number and this is what I got so far:

It belongs to someone in West Chester, PA! I won't reveal the name or address but I wonder if the person was blitzed when he wrote: I'm lonely please call me!

Really? I wonder if it was random or someone the employee knew.

Deb, I was googling a product the Q used to offer and this video came up in the search.
