Q2 NOT LIVE This Evening???

I switched over to Q2 at 6pm to watch the Cudl Duds Clearance Show and it isn't on. Instead it's a repeat of last night's Belle Show. Just wondering if anyone knows what's up?

QVC 2 seems to be evolving backwards. They had a fairly robust line-up of host-led shows from 11am to midnight for quite a while.

But recently, the brand reps have been back to doing a lot of solo shows. Some days less than half the shows have a host in them.

Now repeats during their supposed live hours? If not enough hosts were available, and a brand rep couldn't make it, I guess that's all they can do is fill the slot with a repeat show.

I think there are 7 hosts on vacation/out on leave right now. That's a scheduling nightmare.

That's what happens when ill-advised management let's too many people go on leave at the same time. I could see this coming and it's likely to continue for awhile.

Vacations should be scheduled at the company's convenience. The inmates should not run the asylum, so to speak.

I guess we will see more vendors and repeats on Q2. Brett Hamilton just did an LG show, it was live. Brett is quite good.

At least to me, one of the big problems is lack of expected sales. So merchandise on hand, not enough sales, just repeat the recorded performance. And, as you note, sometimes the prices are higher the next time around, and sometimes the free shipping originally offered is gone. Does not bode well.

Company stock prices are now down to 60 cents a share, another poster informed when I said they were 75 cents a share.

I thought the Q2 shows were always old re-runs. This is news to me.

Signs of a poorly run organization. Like the inmates run the prison. Like no one supervises hosts.

I have all three channels. Q3 is all reruns. Q2 is supposed to have Live shows at 6 pm. It's a mess.

I never understood why QVC felt they needed THREE channels. Why? They don't have enough interesting product to fill one channel 24/7.

What am I missing here?

I saw a live Laura Geller presentation on Q2 at 8 p.m. pacific time. It was so nice to see host Vanessa Herring with LG representative Amber. Herring was calm, did not interrupt the representative and gave information on the products.
