Hi! First time poster but I read comments all the time when I feel like something seems “off” and I find that I’m not alone in my thoughts.

So! Does anyone know if the Sample Sale at the Studio has or is returning in the near future? I used to have a link for a sign up but it doesn’t show anything anymore. I understand since Covid they shut it down but any updates?

I was thinking maybe if they sold the unused products again we could buy back Carolyn’s salary (joking but wishful thinking)…

Thanks for any answers!!

@FitFoodie   lol   That's really wishful thinking.  Love Carolyn, but can't imagine she's going to sit around waiting for thousands of us to buy enough samples of anything to pick up her salary.  She has too many skills and too many interests for that.

I have no info for you about a sample sale.  Never even knew QVC had one.

Do you mean "as is" items that may be a return or could have been used on air?

I have never heard of a "sample" sale.

Re: Q-Related: Sample Sale

I wear a "sample size"....and used to shop in the garment district when I lived in Los Angeles.   Huge discount since the turnover is constant.

On the Q, I would assume it refers to items worn by hosts and models during on-air presentations.

I have never heard of QVC sample sales.  They sell on air used for demo products under " as is" and also at their brick and mortar outlet stores.

I wear a sample size 6 shoe.  I used to be able to buy shoes at the outlet stores here in PA at a great price.  I haven't seen any sample sizes in shoes for years.

Hi! It was every week on-site at the studio. You go online and get a ticket, you’re given a number. On the day of the sale, you go with your ticket to the studio and line up according to your number outside the warehouse. When it’s time to go in, you have 30min to shop.

Its model clothes, samples of makeup, shoes, clothes for $5, lanterns, anything as a set prop.

I got my Christmas tree there for $40 bc it was a prop on set. Make up was $5-10. That’s how I’d buy my Makeup and Luminara candles.

I really miss it.

@FitFoodie  Never heard of it, but I'd definitely be interested. We went on a studio tour about 10 years ago. At the end of the tour, you could shop their outlet store. I bought my first set of Lock n Lock and flameless candles with candlesticks. The prices were great, but not 5 or 10 dollars.

BTW: Welcome to the Forums, and just a suggestion that you might want to post in a larger font for those of us who are visually challenged.

@FitFoodie  I've never heard of this, but, it's so interesting.  I've asked on this forum before if anyone knew what happened to all the clothes, shoes and such that they show on the air.  No one seemed to know for certain, unless it would be sold 'as is' on the QVC site.
