@Shanus I find it amusing how we all thought that having everything delivered was the greatest and then all of a sudden we realized that we were misssing something by not getting out.It might be too late for many of the malls though. The song "don't it always seem to go...you don't know what you got till its gone"must have been a prophecy for a lot of the things that have changed with technology.

Paved paradise, put up a parking lot

With a pink hotel, a boutique and a swinging hot spot

Took all the trees, put them in a tree museum

you don't know what you've got till it's gone

Paved paradise, put up a parking lot and a mall

I like OP's sense of humor!  Who knew the Q would save malls !

I hope the OP is wrong.  At this stage in my life, I much prefer the convenience of shopping at home, rather than trudging through a mall.  But then, again, I don't limit my in-home shopping to QVC.  I tend to spread things around!

I still shop in B&M stores!  As a matter of fact I do the majority of my shopping in them

I've always preferred shopping at the malls over shooping with QVC or online shopping.  Even more nowadays.  When I first started watching QVC in 1991, they had more variety and better hosts and programming, unlike now.  Watching was kind of like being at the mall.  Lots of different lines and products and the quality was good.  Now it's just like going to Walmart or another low end shop that only offers their store branc over and iver and over....

In my area, the outdoor Malls are still doing well, and the Premium Outlet Malls too......It is our indoor malls that need revamping....

One of the bigger malls in our area that is very very nice, started having trouble with teens and gangs, etc, because they had a nice movie theatre inside. Anyway the people of the suburb that the mall was located in said no way-kids are not going to take over our mall and wreck it.

They now have a rule heavily enforced by security guards that if you are under 16 years of age, you must be accompanied by an adult/parent.....You are not allowed to just roam around the mall any longer.

At first a  lot of people thought this is so unfair-not all kids fight and steal and cause ruckus at the mall, but I must say it has helped this mall stay alive, and keep its nice stores and it is once again a busy bustling mall.

I think anytime a Movie Theatre is in a Mall, you are asking for a big teenager hangout.....That is where most of the trouble started....

Hope this keeps up.......

I'm guessing your one of those who keeps QVC on round the clock and then that may be why you see lots of repeats.

I'm the exact opposite and don't keep the TV on for background noise so when I do flip on QVC--it's not annoying---no loop of the same old/same old.

i'm more of a brick and mortar shopper although I do get some things delivered.

Nope. I don't think you have to have them on all day every day before you see significant repetition. It's as if they've narrowed their offerings so much that the same handful of brands are on in quick succession. Then there's the matter of how long the presentations last and how often in any given day the same item might be shown.
