I have been planning to have my carpet cleaned for a couple months.  Finally got around to having it done last Friday.  Today is Tuesday 4 days after cleaning.  What did I do, but drop an entire bottle of ice tea.  Some in my lap in which I had my library book that I will now own as I will have to pay for it, plenty in my overstuffed chair with a good amount left for my newly cleaned carpet.

Guess I should have put the carpet cleaning off a bit longer.

@KathyM23 It wouldn't have mattered how long you put it off...you wouldn't have spilled anything until the carpet was clean, lol! I'm sorry that happened, I know how you feel.

It's funny how the quanity of liquid increases when it spills out of the container, isn't it? I've dropped a 16 oz. bottle of water, and I'd swear it was a gallon when I mopped it up!

Making an appointment for a colonoscopy.  I know I have to do it.  Maybe tomorrow or next week.

@Carmie The office where I have mine done always calls me when it's time again...otherwise I might never call!

They already called me twice.  Due to some issues, I couldn't schedule it then.

I have no excuse now, except I need cataract surgery in my left eye as well...and soon.

I haven't had a PCP for years.  I had to get one before knee replacement surgery and now he is sending me for all these wellness tests.

You name it, I have had it....including a Dexa scan,  a heart monitoring patch for a month, mammogram and bloodwork.  Everything has come back normal and I am getting tired of all these appointments.

I am not sick and take no meds.  I just have good health insurance.

My father had colon cancer, so I know I need to do it.

So, after cataract surgery and a colonoscopy, I will be done with doctors for a while....I hope.

I'm ashamed to say, it's not just a few things. I have a list!

@Carmie My dad and grandmother (dad's mom) both had it...and I STILL put my first one off for years! What I dread most is the prep--if that was easier, I wouldn't even be tempted to procrastinate.

@vermint   I have had colonoscopies before.  Yes, I hate the prep.

My father was one of eleven children and he was the only one who had colon cancer diagnosed at age 85.  He died from something else.

I have tons of first cousins and none of them have had colon cancer.  The doctors are adamant about family history.  One person is family history?

I know I could get it the same as everyone else, so I will get one. I am just not looking forward to it.

@JeanLouiseFinchWell I am doing a little bit better then you. I have broken down my MASTER list into several short lists. Just like how you eat an elephant. One bite at a time. Smiley Happy

@tansy I have a huge moving crate sitting in the spare room (designated junk room). I moved almost six years ago. And I am not proud of that.Smiley Happy

Holding off filing a claim for my hail-damaged house. Hail season is not over so if I file now and pay the deductible, another hail storm will come along and damage my house again. If I file a second claim that means I will have to pay a second deductible and mine is high.
